Woman In Mind

by Alan Ayckbourn

directed by Pat Boxall

In this mesmerising tale of a woman’s struggle with her imagination, Ayckbourn adopts a first person narrative to great effect.Trapped in a loveless marriage and frustrated with life in general and her family in particular, clergyman's wife Susan escapes to a happier, more exciting dream world of her own imagining. But when Susan's two worlds start to overlap and finally collide, danger threatens. Considered by many to be Ayckbourn’s most powerful play, ‘Woman in Mind’ is disturbing, challenging and very funny.
