It's 1944. A young German doctor is sent to the fascist republic of Salò to care for the ailing Benito Mussolini. The dictator's daughter is virtually imprisoned in the family villa, dreaming of her freedom. The impact of the relationships shapes all their destinies as the Allied Forces close in.
