Death of a Salesman

by Arthur Miller

directed by Martin Nichols

The story of Willy Loman, a sixty year old salesman who has run out of time, luck and energy. He's cracking up. No-one wants to buy anything anymore. Nobody knows him. His favourite son can't bear to look at him. So what went wrong?. "It's about the human struggle not to be wiped out" said Miller recently. Without doubt 'Salesman' is one of the greatest plays ever written and is every bit as timely now in the Blairite Britain of "outcomes" and "downsizing" as it was in 1948 America.
