Sexual Perversity In Chicago
by David Mamet
directed by Mark Wilson
Those of you likely to be offended by sexually explicit language, will be! This is a powerful play that at one level is rich with quick-fire Jewish-American humour - some scenes last no more than fifteen seconds. At another, it is a work full of pathos and the impotent rage of the lonely, 'quick-fixing' on physical gratification - imagined or otherwise - whilst clinging to a view of the opposite sex that is bitter with disdain. Come and see it. You will not find a funnier tragedy.
